The Mammoth Overland ELE

The Mammoth Overland ELE Trailer was created when company president Scott Taylor combined his passion for overland travel with decades of aircraft manufacturing experience.

Aircraft technology on land trailers

In fact, the Mammoth Overland company is a subsidiary of Vashon Aircraft, a sports plane manufacturer. Thus, the ELE trailer uses state-of-the-art technology common only in aircraft.

A sturdy trailer

The ELE's outer shell is double-walled, aerospace aluminum sheeting with high-density foam insulation, including optional Level 3 ballistic protection.

Submarine doors

To improve safety, engineers added pressure ports, similar to those on a submarine, with four pins that extend into the walls and open like a lever.

Pressurized cabin

The cabin is pressurized and the air inside can be completely purified in less than three minutes. Plus, it has an integrated medical-grade filtration system, providing up to six months of clean air.

Sophisticated air purification

Incidentally, the air purification system is so sophisticated that it is able to filter even odors, something many systems cannot.

Bear spray defense system

As the trailer is designed to explore the most remote places on the planet, it has a powerful defense system against ferocious animals or bandits, the Bear-Spray Defense System.

How does the defense system work?

With the simple press of a button, the exterior of the ELE is enveloped in a thick cloud of bear spray, 25 x 3 meters wide, potent enough to repel any animal or person threatening the vehicle in a matter of seconds.

Equipment on board

This is not just any trailer. The ELE has an overhead hatch, which leads to an observation deck on the roof. There, owners can operate the drone launch system.

Night vision camera

If you prefer to operate the drones from within the cabin, there is also a night vision camera, which is operated remotely when connected to the onboard computer system, for additional external monitoring.

Television

A television enables two essential functions: monitoring drone and night vision camera footage, as well as controlling meteorological and radiological conditions.

The bodywork

The front part of the ELE has a steel shield to protect against impacts from trees, rocks and other projectiles, while the underside is clad in non-slip steel.

The comfort of ELE

Technology is not just for security and good performance. The trailer is equipped with air conditioning, personal items compartment, radio communication system, internet and a 32-inch television, ensuring that occupants stay refreshed, connected and entertained!

The price of a fully equipped Mammoth Overland ELE trailer is $67,000. If you want level 3 bulletproof protection it will cost you an additional 25K. The ELE is built to order only.

What the president of Mammoth Overland says

“We designed ELE to aircraft standards,” Mammoth president Scott Taylor said in a statement. “It can handle whatever campers might encounter, from bears, to wildfires, to social unrest, so overlanders can explore fearlessly.”
