These will be the highest populated countries in 2075
According to the 'UN World Population Prospects', the latter part of the 21st century is expected to witness the first substantial slowdown and decrease in the global population since the Industrial Revolution.
The notable drop in birth rates around the world is going to cause a paradigm shift in the most populated countries in the world. And the birth rate is expected to be 1.85 children per woman in 2050, compared to the current 2.31 children.
This drop will be sharper in certain countries, especially China, where demographic figures are already falling precipitously, with almost three million fewer people in 2022 and 2023.

Obviously, the demographic and workforce decline, added to the aging of the population and the consequent spending on medical care, will significantly limit the country's economic growth.

In parallel, India will make the opposite journey, with a growth forecast that will take the country to 1.7 billion inhabitants. In addition, they will have the advantage that those over 65 years of age will only make up 20% of the population, according to UN forecasts.

Of course, with a panorama of half a century into the future, everything is subject to circumstances such as possible war conflicts, pandemics, even the maintenance of fertility rates. However, if nothing strange happens, these will be the six most populated countries in the world in 2075.
