'Would Trump have negotiated with Bin Laden?' A Ukrainian soldier's harsh message to America
When Donald Trump officially arrived at the White House on January 20, 2025, no one expected that one of his first communications would be with Vladimir Putin.
After three years of war between Russia and Ukraine, during which the United States has unconditionally supported the Ukrainians, the arrival of Donald Trump has completely changed the game board.
The US president is seeking to negotiate an end to the war with Vladimir Putin, leaving Zelensky out of the talks and some believe they plan on dividing Ukraine between the US and Russia.
Obviously, the Ukrainians are the first to oppose this new scenario, first of all because they would be betraying the hundreds of thousands of people who have died in this war.
Now, the situation has been best defined by Dmitry Tishetsky, a Ukrainian soldier who has sent a message to Americans who want to receive it, asking them to reflect on what the surprising understanding between Putin and Trump implies, when it is Ukraine that they want to share.

"America, I have a question for you. You chose Donald Trump as your president. And today, your president picked up the phone and called the world’s number one terrorist. Not to demand justice. Not to hold him accountable. But to talk. To negotiate. To treat him like a legitimate leader. So tell me—how do you feel about that??" the soldier wrote on Instagram.
The harshest part of Dmitry Tishetsky's message comes when he makes a comparison so brutal that it is impossible not to stir up the insides of every American who reads it.
Tishetsky continued, "Would you have accepted a president who called Bin Laden after 9/11? Would you have justified sitting down with ISIS? Because that’s exactly what just happened."
Dmitry Tishetsky also aims for the heart with his message. "I’ve buried brothers because of Putin. I’ve seen civilians executed, children crushed under rubble, entire families wiped off the earth. And yet, Trump—your leader—just gave that monster a seat at the table," he wrote.

The soldier continued saying, "For three years, Ukraine has been fighting for survival, standing on the front line of freedom. The American people have stood with us, and I will always be grateful for that. But now, your president stands with our enemy. So I’ll ask again—America, how do you feel about that?"
