The holidays can be a stressful time with so much to do and so many special events. For some that stress comes out in their driving, there is nothing like a little holiday road rage!

Is your city on the naughty or nice list?

A company called GasBuddy recently released the results of its annual aggressive holiday driving study in which the company examined "millions of drives during 2023’s Thanksgiving holiday weekend, measuring the number of events of speeding, hard braking, and fast acceleration," according to the GasBuddy website. Clearly, some US cities are on Santa's naughty list regarding their driving conduct! Click on to discover the ten nicest and the ten naughtiest cities when it comes to holiday driving in the United States!

Naughty: Tucson, AZ

Coming in at number on on the naughty drivers list is Tuscon, Arizona, where the drivers, according to GasBuddy's data, really have a speeding problem.

Naughty: Nashville, TN

In second place is the drivers in Nashville, Tennessee, who the data shows have a problem with "fast acceleration events".

Naughty: Orlando, FL

Like Tucson, people in Orlando have an issue with going over the speed limit, landing them third place on the naughty list.

Naughty: Jacksonville, FL

Coming in at fourth place are Jacksonville, Florida drivers, who like those in Nashville, seems to have a problem with fast acceleration.

Naughty: New Orleans, LA

The need for speed landed New Orleans driver's on the 5th spot on Santa's naughty list this year.

Naughty: Richmond, VA

Driver's in Richmond will also be getting goal this year as they are in 6th place for having a heavy foot on the accelerator.

Naughty: Salt Lake City, UT

In seventh place on the aggressive holiday drivers list is Salt Lake City, where yet again, the main problem is speeding.

Naughty: Buffalo, NY

Buffalo is in eight place, where, surprise, surprise, drivers in the city just have no respect for the speed limit.

Naughty: Memphis, TN

Drivers in Memphis will have to learn to slow down if they want to get off the naughty driver's list, as they also have a speeding problem.

Naughty: Oklahoma City, OK

Oklahoma drivers also do not respect the speed limits over the holidays, landing them the 10th spot on GasBuddy's aggressive driver's list.

Nice: Minneapolis, MN 

Number one on the nice list is Minneapolis, where they speed 32% less than the national average and have 16% less fast acceleration and hard braking events compared to the rest of America.

Nice: Providence, RI

Providence has the honor of being number two on the nice list where they have 19% less fast accelerating incidents compared to the average American driver.

Nice: Portland, OR 

In third place is Portland, with an impressive 30% less speeding than average.

Nice: Seattle, WA 

Seattle boasts 30% less speeding than the national average and has 3% less hard-braking events than the rest of America, but they occasionally accelerate a little too fast, nonetheless, they are still in 4th place on the nice list.

Nice: Cleveland, OH 

In Cleveland then drive nice and safe and speed 26% less than the average, earning them 5th place for being nice.

Nice: Norfolk, VA 

In Norfolk they respect the speed limit and don't accelerate too fast but they hard-brake just as much as the average American. Even so, they hold steady on the nice list in 6th place.

Nice: Hartford, CT 

In 7th place is Hartford, Connecticut, where overall people 18% less driving infractions than the American average.

Nice: Las Vegas, NV 

Surprisingly Las Vegas is on the nice list with a solid 8th place. Las Vegas drivers speed less, brake-hard less, and accelerate too fast 17% less than other American drivers.

Nice: Rochester, NY 

9th place goes to Rochester, New York drivers, who on average speed 15% less than other drivers across the country.

Nice: Columbus, OH 

Finally, number ten on the nice list is Columbus, Ohio. Columbus drivers commit 13% less infractions compared to the average driver.
