As reported by CNN, Donald Trump unveiled his shiny golden Trump Sneakers called the "Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker" at Philadelphia's Sneaker Con on February 17. The price to wear a pair of Don's shoes isn't for the faint of heart, each pair will set you back $399!

Trump spoke at a podium as he showed off the sneakers for the first time saying,“This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years, and I think it’s going to be a big success.” Perhaps the former-President of the United States is hoping to pay back the state of New York with his shoe sales?

According to the BBC, one thousand pairs of golden sneakers were produced and sold out almost immediately Saturday on Trump's newest website, 'Get Trump Sneakers'.

Anyone who thinks it's a joke just has to go to the 'Get Trump Sneakers' website and confirm that this is all true.

Now the resale of these golden high-tops has triggered speculation they may become a collector's item. Others claim that the loud shoes will be collecting dust in the attic before long.

As for those who want a pair of Trumpy shoes but just can't cough up nearly 400 dollars? Don't worry, Trump thought of you too. On his website you can also find two more economical models of Trump sneakers which will only set you back $200.

You can even smell like Trump too! For just $99 you can purchase a bottle of 'Victory 47' perfume or cologne. Naturally, after this unexpected announcement, lots of hilarious memes about Trump's latest business venture started to pop up everywhere.
