Have you ever wondered which cities in the United States are the most dangerous? If so, you're not alone. The government likes to keep track of this statistic through the  Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Let's take a look at which cities are the most worrying.

FBI analysis

Some cities are more violent than others and we’ll be looking at America’s 22 most dangerous based on the FBI’s ranking from the organization's 2021 Uniform Crime Reporting Program data. The data may present oddly, but the cities are ordered in the same way the FBI ranked them in their data. 

How do we define the crime categories?

Violent crimes include murders, robberies, aggravated assaults, and sexual assaults while property crimes include burglaries, larceny, and automotive thefts—this is important to understand when looking at the data from the FBI's report. So which cities are the most dangerous?
