Trump posted a weird message dreaming about Biden coming back

On August 6th, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social to post a frenzied rant filled with a lot of false information that seemingly pined for the return of Joe Biden as his opponent in the 2024 Presidential Election. 

Rolling Stone noted the former president’s online message was full of spelling errors but his message seemed quite clear: Trump wanted to know the likelihood of Biden returning as the Democratic nominee. 

“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U.S., whose Presidency was Unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and others on the Lunatic Left, CRASHES the Democrat National Convention and tries to take back the Nomination,” Trump wrote.

Trump’s question wasn’t rhetoric and he continued by writing: “He feels that he made a historically tragic mistake by handing over the U.S. Presidency, a COUP, to the people in the World he most hates, and he wants it back, NOW!!!”

As hard as Trump may be trying to sow doubt and division among left-wing voters about how Vice President Harris became the Democratic nominee, the idea that it was a coup orchestrated by the party really hasn’t taken hold. 

In the days after Biden revealed that he was withdrawing from the presidential race, the Democratic Party and its supporters have quickly rallied around Harris as the individual they believe will beat the former president in November. 

Rolling Stone noted everyone from lawmakers to celebrities have pledged their support for Harris whereas the former president “has responded by having a verifiable meltdown over the prospect of facing her instead of Biden.”

Trump has backed out of the planned September 10th debate he scheduled with Biden and instead has offered to debate Harris in front of a crowded stadium and only on Fox News, a request that the Harris campaign has rejected. 

The former president and his Republican allies have struggled to find a line of attack on Harris since she became the Democratic Party’s nominee, which may be why Trump is pinning away on social media about Biden as his opponent. 

Trump’s most recent musings about Biden on Truth Social did not go unnoticed by his political opponents and Democrats quickly targeted the former president’s post, making fun of Trump for what they perceived as his fear of facing Harris. 

“Oh, he’s scared,” said California Governor Gavin Newsom on X in response to Trump’s post. It was a sentiment also pointed out by California Democrat Adam Schiff.

“It’s ok to be scared,” Schiff, who currently serves as Representative of California's 30th Congressional District, and is a candidate for Senate, wrote on X in response to Trump's weird message. 

Republicans also got in on the action with the group The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump Republican group, writing on X: “Donald is so panicked, he wants Biden back in the race.”

“Trump is ranting on Truth Social about the presidency being ‘STOLEN’ from Joe Biden by ‘Kamabla’ and ‘Barrack HUSSEIN Obama’ and suggests that Biden is going to step back in and challenge him to another debate.” Republican Voters Against Trump wrote.

“This is pretty unhinged even for Trump,” Republican Voters Against Trump added. Yet despite the former president’s yearning to see Biden back at the top of the ticket, such an outcome is now impossible. 

On August 5th, Vice President Harris officially became the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nominee, winning 99% of the 4,567 participating delegates in a virtual roll call according to the New York Times.
