Stormy Daniels revealed a very concerning thing Donald Trump said

On May 7th, Stormy Daniels took the stand in Donald Trump’s latest criminal court case and provided the world with a lot of unsavory details about her tryst with the then-reality television star, including something very weird. 

Daniels revealed the whole sequence of events that led to her secret visit with Trump in a Lake Tahoe hotel room back in 2006 according to The Independent, which reported on some of the most salacious things Daniels said. 

When Daniels met the former president he was still just a business tycoon and one of the world’s most well-known reality stars. Trump had just married Melania one year prior and his son Baron was born four months earlier. 

However, Trump’s marital status and newborn child didn’t stop him from inviting Daniels to his penthouse suite for dinner, though Salon noted that this dinner never actually happened according to Daniels’ testimony. 

When Daniels arrived at Trump’s room, she found him in his pajamas. Salon noted that Trump eventually changed, but the event led to a bit of funny business between the two based on what Daniels explained to the jurors. 

In one incident, Daniels alleged in her testimony that she spanked the then-reality star with a magazine in order to get him to be more polite and then spent roughly two hours talking about the adult film industry and other topics. 

Trump allegedly asked Daniels if she had ever “hooked up” other stars off camera and even revealed that he and Melania didn’t sleep in the same room according to reporting from the New York Times. 

During the conversation, Daniels recalled that the former president compared her to his daughter, a revelation that global news media quickly picked up and reported on. However, it was unclear if Trump was talking about his daughter Ivanka or Tiffany. 

"You remind me of my daughter," Trump told Daniels according to her testimony, which was quoted by The Independent. “Smart, blonde and beautiful. And people underestimate her as well.” Trump also said based on Daniels’ recollection. 

This wouldn’t be the first that Trump has made awkward comments about his daughter and the former president does have a long history of making weird comments about his daughter Ivanka that go back decades. 

In 2006, Trump revealed on The View that he wouldn’t be happy if Ivanka ever posed for Playboy magazine but added at the end of his answer that if Ivanka wasn’t he daughter then he would date her according to the Independent. 

"It would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what's inside the magazine,” Trump said.  "I don't think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her. Isn’t that terrible? How terrible? Is that terrible?”

During a 2006 interview on the Howard Stern Show, Stern said Ivanka looked more voluptuous than ever to which Trump replied: “She's actually always been very voluptuous… She's tall, she's almost 6 feet tall and she's been, she's an amazing beauty.”

The former president’s lewd comments about Ivanka allegedly continued well into his time at the White House according to the former Chief of Staff at the Department of Homeland, Miles Tayor.

In his 2023 book on Trump entitled: ‘Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump’, Taylor revealed some very concerning behavior from the former president when it came to his daughter. 

"Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump's breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter," Taylor Wrote according to a Newsweek report.

Whether or not Taylor’s allegations are true is difficult to prove. However, Trump’s prior comments certainly do lend some credence to the idea that he may have indeed made a comment comparing Daniels to Ivanka during their 2006 rendezvous.
