The top countries aren’t the nations you think

The United States gives out tens of billions in aid to foreign countries every single year but have you ever stopped and asked yourself which nations are getting the most cash from their American ally?

Promoting global stability with taxpayer money

As it turns out, promoting global stability and American national interests through cash transfers to other countries has seen some nations receive tens of billions in monetary help from the United States.

We have hard data on who gets the most cash

Which nations receive the most aid isn’t up for debate either, the United States federal government provides detailed information on where American tax dollars are going all around the world via its foreign assistance webpage tracker.

Ukraine being the largest recipient of aid money makes a lot of sense since Washington sent Kyiv a lot of military and financial assistance after Russia launched its invasion of the country in February 2022.

Israel as second?

Israel came in second place and Visual Capitalist noted that 99% of the aid money sent to the country in 2022 was dedicated to “Conflict, Peace, and Security”, which the U.S. Department of Defense facilitated with disbursements according to the visual graphics website.
