The 82nd got more goodies

The soldiers of the 82nd Brigade were also previously provided with 2,000 first-person view drones, 200 night vision devices, and 50 generators in March as part of a total package that cost the foundation ₴62 million hryvnia or just over $15,300,000 dollars.

Fighting on the hottest part of the line

The weapons and equipment supplied to the 82nd Brigade were intended for use near Robotyne, one of the hottest areas of the frontline at the time the foundation supplied the donations to the brigade.

Putting the drones and generators to good use

Militarnyi reported that first-person view drones would be used against Russian armor to stop assaults while the generators would be put to work as backup systems and to charge some of the brigade’s electronic equipment.

Why is night vision important for 82nd?

The night vision devices sent to the brigade were military standard devices and were intended to help the brigade’s soldiers “conduct field reconnaissance or observation in the dark, during night battles and assaults."
