These are the cities with the most millionaires
Where do millionaires live? The answer was provided by a report prepared in 2023 by the London company Henley & Partners, in collaboration with New World Health, a research institute on global migration.
The study, taken up by 'Vanity Fair', is based on various data from 2022 that attest to the movements and spending habits of the wealthy, particularly business leaders.
With a total of five cities in the top 10 (New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston), to which we must add Dallas, present in the top 20, the largest economy in the world is overrepresented in the ranking.
This is also the case for the Asian continent as a whole, with four cities in the top 10: Tokyo, Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai. Hong Kong and Seoul are also in the top 20.

With 345,600 US dollar millionaires, 737 “centimillionaires” (fortunes over $100 million) and even 59 billionaires, New York is officially the richest city in the world. The “Big Apple” benefits from its status as the economic capital and main financial center of the United States.
Japan's capital comes in second place with 304,900 millionaires, 263 centimillionaires and 12 billionaires (a figure that suggests a relatively equal distribution of wealth). Tokyo continues to host the headquarters of major Japanese firms.

Considered one of the most economically free places in the world, the city-state of Singapore has the fifth largest number of millionaires (249,800), including 336 centimillionaires and 26 billionaires.

China closes this top 10, in first place with its capital, Beijing. There are currently 131,500 millionaires, including 363 centimillionaires, living in the Chinese Communist Party stronghold. With 44 billionaires, Beijing is only surpassed by New York and San Francisco.
